The founders

Benjamin Thurin, who initiated the project, is a general engineer from Arts et Métiers ParisTech (École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers). His very pragmatic personality, his passion for designing new products, his broad scientific background and his ability to see the big picture allow him to design products that address problems as a whole. It was alongside his studies that Benjamin designed the first product in D-INNOVATION’s tank range: the HECLIPSE sampling valve.

Aurélien is a general engineer from the École Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et des Microtechniques. He is a long-standing friend of Benjamin: they attended preparatory classes together and have already worked on many projects. Aurélien joined Benjamin at the HECLIPSE prototyping stage. Practical, rigorous and curious, he can master all the technologies needed to turn an invention into a real product. He also runs our CNC machine, handles purchasing and supplier relations, and prepares and ships orders!

Justine has known the first two partners for several years: all three were in the same preparatory class at the Lycée et CFA Gustave Eiffel in Bordeaux. Also a graduate of Arts et Métiers ParisTech (École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers), she followed a programme in Business Creation and Development that broadened her knowledge of starting and running a company. As soon as she finished, she joined Aurélien and Benjamin, who had completed the design of HECLIPSE, and suggested they team up to create D-INNOVATION. A natural people person, she brings the sales, marketing and organisational skills needed to launch D-INNOVATION.
